Fuel prices are rising in Montenegro

Currently in Montenegro, a liter of BMB 98 costs 1,62 euros, BMB 95 - 1,58 euros, Eurodiesel - 1,45 euros.

Increase in prices for fuel in Montenegro can be resolved by passing the Law on Excise Duties of the Montenegrin Parliament, which will reduce excises on fuel. Due to the current political events in the country, the vice-president of the Parliament of Montenegro, Strahinja Bulayic, will not call the parliamentary session. We remind you that since last week in the parliamentary procedure there is an offer on amendments to the law on excises, the adoption of which may reduce the excise tax by 20%. Previously, a similar law was introduced in the SD Assembly, which calls for a 25 percent reduction in excise taxes on goivo, and the PSD has been proposing excise reductions for years.

Prices are also rising in other European cities. In Paris, Frankfurt and London, many drivers are already paying two euros or more per liter of fuel, which is unprecedented and is a consequence of the war in Ukraine, which caused oil prices to skyrocket.
