Hotel Galeb - a symbol of the city Ulcinj, a place of most beautiful memories for many generations of citizens, will finally begin to be built, said Prime Minister Dritan Abazovic.
“Privatization since 2006 has been completed unsuccessfully, investments have not been realized, and the most difficult moment that will be remembered for all time was its demolition in 2008 (against an agreed commitment). Today, 16 years later, the Government has confirmed the Agreement, under which Galeb changed ownership and opened the doors to a new investor for the final implementation of the project. Thus, the conditions are finally met for Ulcinj to receive a 5-star hotel in the most prestigious location in the city center, which will be managed by some of the world's most famous hotel brands,” Abazovic said in his speech.
He believes that this is only the first of a series of major investments to be launched in Ulcinj.
“We create new values, create new jobs and position our country as a prestigious tourist destination,” Abazovich said.
