Banks operating in the Montenegrin market, made a profit in the amount of 31,1 million euros in the first six months of this year, according to transaction reports submitted to the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG).

nine banks completed the first half of the year with a profit, and Zapad and Zirat banka - with a loss. The achieved result is slightly higher than the one that was recorded for the same period last year, when banks received a profit of $29,5 million in half a year.

Bank CKB (Crnogorska komercijalna banka) made the largest profit of EUR 9,36 million, followed by Erste with EUR 5,8 million, followed by NLB with a profit of EUR 4,98 million.

Hipotekarna earned €4,1 million, Adriatik €2,5 million, Universal Capital €2,24 million. Adiko Bank earned €1,12 million, Lovćen €437 million and Prva banka €000.

The loss of Zapad Bank in the second quarter amounted to 255 euros, and Zirat - 000 euros.

In six months, banks have earned a total of 80,47 million euros in interest and 21 million euros in fees and commissions. CKB also leads here with the largest market share, with net interest income of €24,9 million and fees and commissions of €5,7 million. NLB Bank net income from interest was $13,76 million and from fees and commissions - $2,29 million.

Erste Bank earned 11,8 million in interest and 1,8 million in commissions. It is followed by Hipotekarna with €7,84 million in net interest income and €3,91 million in fees and commissions, Adiko with €5,3 million in interest income and €837 in fees and commissions.

Lovćen banka earned 4,7 million in interest and 390 euros in fees and commissions, Prva banka 000 million in interest and 3,52 euros in fees and commissions, while Universal Capital raised 783 million on interest and 000 million in fees and commissions.

Adriatik Bank's income from interest amounted to 2,71 million euros, and from fees and commissions - 2,26 million euros. Zapad Bank received €2,17 million in interest income and €556 in fees and commissions. Zirat Bank earned the least on interest and commissions - 000 euros, or 930 euros.
