The chairman of the municipality of Tivat, Zeljko Komnenovic, announced the start of construction of the boulevard from the airport in Tivat to Jaz this autumn, and the construction of the boulevard through Tivat should begin next year.
В morning program TVCG Komnenovic recalled that numerous infrastructure projects have been implemented in Tivat, and that a systemic solution is needed to reduce congestion through the construction of boulevards.

"I hope that Chinese company, which was selected in the tender, will soon begin work on the boulevard from Tivat Airport to Jaz. According to my information, excavation work will begin in the near future, and intensive work will begin in the fall,” Komnenovich said.
He also says that the start of the construction of the boulevard through Tivat was recently agreed with the Traffic Administration.
“It was agreed that from September 2024, work will begin on the construction of a new boulevard across Tivat from the Aerodrome to Donja Lastva,” Komnenovic said.
The season promises to be hot
Komnenovic says there are currently about 6 tourists in Tivat and all indications are that this will be a record tourist season. He also noted that the city now has 200% more tourists than last year and eight percent more than the record-breaking 10. According to him, the most numerous tourists in Tivat are Russians, guests from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Turkey, Great Britain.
